"Gift Of Love" Award

Look what I got the other day form the wonderful Janine.

This is called the "Gift Of Love" Award and I get to choose between 4 & 8 people to pass it on to.
Here are 5 fabulous Blogs from my blog list

Been a little out of sorts here.

Isacc is growing up very quickly he is now 14weeks old and his mum (Sam) and dad (Ben) took him to get some professional baby shoots taken 2 weeks ago- he was 11 weeks old then and I just thought I would share a couple of shots with you.

I haven't been a slack blogger or scrapper lately on purpose but it seems that my mojo has taken an extended holiday :(. Please if you find it could you return it to me or better yet leave me a comment on a my blog to inspire me.

Who knows you may just have the right words that will bring the mojo back to me again LOL and if you do I will give one lucky blogger a little RAK just to say thank you.

Victorian Bushfire appeal - Shop at COLES today

The Victorian Bushfires are just devastating as we have all heard on the news since they have happened last Saturday.

My heart and prayers goes out to all those that have been affected by this disaster.

So I am asking everyone that reads this blog to go do their shopping at any COLES store today as they are donating all their profits for today to the bushfire appeal. Please even if its only a couple of items that you are needing from the supermarket like milk and bread, take that little bit of extra time and shop at COLES today. We will be doing our shopping there today.

The RED CROSS are also doing a wonderful job of helping victims from this bushfire and if you wish to donate please follow this LINK. Every little bit helps.

Happy Birthday Mathew

Our oldest son Mathew is 23 today. Here is a snap shot of him with his nephew Isacc. Don't they both look relaxed LOL.

Scrap the boys layout

The other day (16th of Jan 08 actually) I created a layout for this month's challenge at Scrap The Boys. I used the following items to create it.
Cardstock - Stampin’ Up!
Papers from INK
Stitched rubons in red from TLC
Grungeboard skulls
Brown versacube ink
White ink Colour IT!
Bella chipboard letters
Journal block from Glitz Designs
Journal block from Theresa Collins

I used my Stampin’ Up! cutter tool kit to grunge up the papers around the edges with the Distressing Tool.
This is the very 1st time I have ever entered a blog challenge too. Amazing how sometimes things just fall into place isn't it and you are able to do something you have wanted to do for ages.

Week #2 photos

Bit slack with these I know but I do have a good excuse for not posting these here earlier.
Our internet is on go slow as we have been shapped back from going over our plan and we are only 3 weeks into the month...Doh! Plus I have been helping the Bossman in getting everything back onto the Scrapping Around website.
So these are my random photos from week #2.
Catch you shorlty with week #3 and an OTP I completed this week :)

Such is life...isn't it!!!

Well I have had to have a good long think about things that are important to me and what really isn't and you know My FAMILY are #1 in everything that matters.
Having said that I have had to think about me and Stampin' Up! and as much as I love their stamps and other products I'm not a "party plan" girl at all. Just don't like having my supplies in boxes and waiting for the next booking at all so at the end of this month I am going to give up Stampin' Up!. It's a tough choice but hey it has to be made. I'll live and I won't stress about feeling like I am stretching myself too far and all over the place.
DH's work hours being what they are some weeks its just too hard to work around him and hte boys that are still at home. Plus my commitment to my DT work is much more important to me.
So good bye Stampin' Up! if you are one of my customers I will post a link to some wonderful ladies in early Feb that I know will be more then happy to help you with any products you may wish to purchase from Stampin' Up!

Catch you soon with another post :)

What I have been upto so far this week

Well I have been having a play with wordpress. There are just some things blogger won"t let me do that I really want to do and that is seperate my DT work from my Stampin Up! and also inform my Stampin' Up! customers on what classes, workshops, crops I am planning for 2009.

Sad that blogger won't let me do all this I know and I bet I am not the only one whom hasn't worked out how to do all that and a little more in blogger.

So if your looking for information on my Stampin' Up! classes etc here is the link ofcourse I will still be here and will link bits from here to my Stamin' Up! info and vice versa so don't stress to much.

Ok I'm off to have a little play with my stash and pack to go out and crop at a friends house this evening.

But before I forget hop on over to the Scrapping Around Blog as I have set the challenges for SYS #2 and the 4th quote challenge there while the site is being transfered to a new hosting company. So hoping that this wont take to much longer but they did inform BR that it could take up to 5 working days :(
Till next time take care
