The Victorian Bushfires are just devastating as we have all heard on the news since they have happened last Saturday.
My heart and prayers goes out to all those that have been affected by this disaster.
So I am asking everyone that reads this blog to go do their shopping at any COLES store today as they are donating all their profits for today to the bushfire appeal. Please even if its only a couple of items that you are needing from the supermarket like milk and bread, take that little bit of extra time and shop at COLES today. We will be doing our shopping there today.
The RED CROSS are also doing a wonderful job of helping victims from this bushfire and if you wish to donate please follow this LINK. Every little bit helps.

To all our family & Friends we wish you a very Happy Australia Day. I for one am overjoyed to be a citizen of this great nation. My parents, Brothers and I migrate to Australia in 1974 ( I was 10 at the time) from The Netherlands. We became naturalised citizens 3 years later.
Some photos of the Fireworks at the Geelong Waterfront from last night.

Well I have had to have a good long think about things that are important to me and what really isn't and you know My FAMILY are #1 in everything that matters.
Having said that I have had to think about me and Stampin' Up! and as much as I love their stamps and other products I'm not a "party plan" girl at all. Just don't like having my supplies in boxes and waiting for the next booking at all so at the end of this month I am going to give up Stampin' Up!. It's a tough choice but hey it has to be made. I'll live and I won't stress about feeling like I am stretching myself too far and all over the place.
DH's work hours being what they are some weeks its just too hard to work around him and hte boys that are still at home. Plus my commitment to my DT work is much more important to me.
So good bye Stampin' Up! if you are one of my customers I will post a link to some wonderful ladies in early Feb that I know will be more then happy to help you with any products you may wish to purchase from Stampin' Up!
Catch you soon with another post :)

Well I have been having a play with wordpress. There are just some things blogger won"t let me do that I really want to do and that is seperate my DT work from my Stampin Up! and also inform my Stampin' Up! customers on what classes, workshops, crops I am planning for 2009.

Ok this may be silly but I normally just use Kodak Easyshare to upload my photos from my camera to my pc. Yes I know there are some basic things in there that you can play with to "alter" photos but honsestly I have a love for Paintshop Pro 9 that I do heaps in (maybe not enough though). So today I thought I would share my week 1 and week 2 photos that so far are my favourites. Week #2 photo
Here is our ever so hansome and cute godson JJ on his trike begging me for a photo. Couldn't resist since he asked so nicely.
I used the Spotlight in fun effects to darken the edges.Week #1 Photo
Our hansome soon to be 16 year old giving a ride to Bella on his major new toy that he bought himself with his earning from Toys-R-Us.
For this photo I just had to use the Fisheye effect in the fun effects.
Easy peasy you say and yep it was so if you have a program that you use to upload your photos to your pc go check out what else it can do and hey leave me a comment when you have done it so I can check it out.

May 2009 bring you joy, happiness, prosperity, love and your hearts desires each and every day.
Besides my scrapping goals I am also going to choose one word for this year. My word for 2009 is:-
JOY - the emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying; keen pleasure; elation. A source or cause of keen pleasure or delight; something or someone greatly valued or appreciated.
The idea behind the one little word concept is to give yourself something to focus on throughout the year. "A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow."
Do you have one word for 2009? If so then please leave a comment. I would love to know what your word is.

This is the layout I created over the last 2 days of Isacc's 1st Santa photo.
I have used:-White Bazzill cardstock
Black gel pen
Rainbow Kindy Glitz
Dimentional Magic
Silver Rhinestones - Kaiser
Christmas tree and word chipboard from Crafty Originals.
1st chipboard alphas from American Crafts
Christmas Spirit - JOLLY paper
Christmas Spirit JOYFUL paper from Kaisercrafts
I cut the baubles out and used Scrapdots to 3D them.I ran the chipboar through my Xyron machine before I inked and DMed them. I left it on the adhesive backing to dry which I found pretty easy and saved making more mess on my craft matt.
On the Christmas tree and word I used Stampin' up! inks they were Old Olive for the tree and Blue Bayou for the word. Then I coated the whole lot with DM and added a little Rainbow Kindy Glitz to the tree once it was dry.
1st apha number and letters just had a little Rainbow Kindy Glitz added.
With my black gel pen I just doodled around the photo and on the sides of the paper.
I realised earlier while reading my own posts, that I hadn't shared photos of Sam and I decorating the tree the day before she was due to give birth..........
