FEB Cyber Crop Layouts from Scrapping Around

These are the layouts I got completed for the Cyber Crop at Scrapping Around this time. I just haven't been well for the past 2 weeks and at this stage we have no idea what is wrong. But I can tell you that 3 blood tests in one week is just 3 blood tests too many.

Challenge #3 - LOVE / HAPPINESS This is a photo of Charlotte, Samantha and I that Rob took on Christmas day. It does remind me about how much fun the 3 of us girls can have together. and thats what the journalling is all about. I used rubons on the ribbon for an added touch of journalling. On the journaling block I used stickers and rubons as well as my own hand writting for my journalling.

Products used:-

  • Grant Archival Textured cardstock pad - Neutrals
  • Ash paper flowers from Kasiercraft
  • Sugar Sugar collection - SPRINKLES from Kaisercraft
  • Purple flower rhinestones from Kaisercraft
  • Alpha Masks from Heidi Swapp
  • Pale Beige paint from kasiercraft
  • 2 scoops brads for ribbon
  • White ribbon
  • Rubons from Kaisercraft & TLC from my stash
Journalling reads:-My happiness is being able to spend time with my 2 girls. The 3 of us allways have a lot of fun together. It's what I call bliss.
Challenge #6 - Blind Challenge
My take on Renees blind challenge.
I have used :-
  • Grant Archival CS
  • TLC patterned papers
  • Lone ranger - SALOON paper from Kaisercraft

Challenge #1-Handmade chipboard embellishment

My take on the 1st challenge for this Cyber Crop.Family I inked the chipboard using stamps and inks from my stash. Photos were taken on Christmas Day at charlotte's house.

Products used were:-

  • Bazzill CS - Raven
  • Lovestruck paper from Kaiser
  • Flower Power - Fuscia Fozz felt from kaiser

New Scrapping Toy

Today I got my new scrappbooking toy. I am finally the proud owner of the Sizzix BIGkick.
I love the pink and white that this machine can in thats for sure. And I have so many of the older Sizzix dies that it isn't funny at all. Just didn't use them for ages as my Big Red Sizzix machine had been well and truly over worked. Now I will be able to use the cuttlebug embossing folders that I have with ease instead of being frustrated that the folders wont fit lenght ways into the machine.

I so love the fact that with this machine I am able to use other brands of die cuts. Yes I am sure it will void the manufacturers warranty for the Cuttlebug Embossing folders but hey I will be very very careful using them.

Have just been on Scrapping Around and they now stock lots and lots of the Cuttlebug embossing folders so that will be my next purchase this evening and I don't have to leave the house to get them :)

A little share from me

Hi to all that read my blog, it's been a week or so since I last posted so thought I would share 2 of my layouts that I created as part of my DT commitments for Scrapping Around.
Vegemite Girl was inspired by the photos and ofcourse the label on the Vegemite jar.
Baby Girl allowed me to play with acetate for the 1st time. It's a pretty basic layout but the punched out acetate circles and flowers popped up with some scrap dots does give the layout a bit of omph I think.

Thanks for visiting and until next time stay safe and happy scrappin to you all.

World Card Making Day

Today I created these cards to celebrate world card making day for Scrapping Around.
You will find my tutorial in their forum. I must say I had a ball playing with all the items even though there weren't that many of them.

I also created 2 turorials to go with these cards.
1 to make your stickers 3D and the other was on how to score cardstock or paper without using a scoring blade.
I am a huge fon of the Kaiser Cutter and I love my scoring blade almost as much as I love the shaped blades as I have never been a fan of shaped scissors at all. For some reason I can never get the cuts to line up like I want them too.
